Amber is petrified pine tree sap that is millions of years old. For centuries, it has been used not only as a decoration but also as a natural healing power. One way of using it is by preparing a tincture mixture of amber clusters steeped in 90% alcohol. It has been known to help with stomach pains due to food poisoning or diarrhea. It is good for your heart and rubbing it into your chest will ease asthma coughing. Use it up to five times a day. Consult your family doctor before use.

Granulated amber may be used at home in the form of an amber tincture by adding a few drops of tincture in boiling water and drunk, especially in cases of persistent disorders in the stomach or intestines. The tincture maybe used externally by dabbing it onto the place you feel the pain. For sensitive skin it maybe rubbed with the tincture mixed 50/50 with water.
