Baltic Amber is recognized as the oldest and highest quality amber that is available. The Greeks mythologized it as tears of Apollo's daughters. Romans considered a single piece worth more than a slave. Many cultures used it as powerful medicine. It was, and still is, the medium for exquisite jewelry.

Amber is found in many parts of the world, but most of it comes from Poland's Baltic Sea coast. Scientifically proven to be of higher quality than amber found in other places, Poland's amber is at least 40 million years old, and is made of resin from the trees of that period. In other words, each piece of amber is older than humanity itself!
