Hilt covered with gold plate, partly nielloed, fragments supplemented in the 19th century, covered with plant motifs. On the reverse of the hilt a Tetragrammaton encircled by inscription: +REC. (haec) FIGVRA. . . TALET. AD AMOREM. REGVM/ETPRINCIPVM.IRAS.IVDICVM (This sign influences the love of kings and princes, the wrath of judges).
