This charming caper film about a legendary thief who must pull one last job is the debut feature film of Juliusz Machulski, director of the beloved comedy hits Kingsize and Sexmission. Set in Lodz in 1930's, the film follows the exploits of Kwinto, a safecracker and thief from the old school who takes a sense of pride in his work and remains loyal to his crew. After serving years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, Kwinto (played by the director's father, Jan Machulski) seeks revenge on the former accomplice who framed him. The once-trusted associate is now a bank president, and Kwinto's plan involves one last big heist.
