Leather suspenders with metal buckle for contemporary sabres and daggers used in Polish Army. White with brass buckle / hangers for a Navy, black with silver colored buckle / hangers for other forces. They hook up to a belt on one end and to a small wheels mounted on the scabbard on the on the other. Metal parts require periodic polishing.
