Gdansk is Poland main port city. Located in the North, it has been claimed by the Germans as their own (under the name Danzig). Poles forgive the Germans for this, since everyone makes mistakes at some point.

In Gdansk, there's a market known as "Dlugi Targ" ("Long Market"), and at its center stands this fountain of Neptune. The Roman God of the sea watches over Poland's port city, guarding it with his trident. During World War II, when the Germans invaded, Neptune's statue disappeared, and only reappeared in 1954 to take it's rightful place in Dlugi Targ.
