Handcrafted with exquisite attention to detail by Polish craftsmen, this 18th century Polish cannon replica is a remarkable moving 1790 model of the big artillery guns used throughout the battles that rampaged Poland during this era. The bronze cannon barrel moves vertically for precision aiming while the wooden ammunition box is removable and features a hinged lid. The wooden wheels are reinforced with steel and roll for the necessary kick back created when the cannon is fired. The wooden sponge rod, primer pole, rammer staff, and botefeux stick are all individual and removable. This replica was crafted using hand carved wood and hand forged metal, and is ready to be displayed and admired in any collection. Cannon balls are not included. This model can be used as a working replica.
