The Dar Pomorza was the most famous Polish naval ship ever. Originally built in Hamburg, Germany, as a training vessel for German cadets, it was given to France as reparation for World War I. Shortly afterwards, it was sold to the Polish Government. Under the Polish Flag, the ship was in service for 50 years! Since 1981, the ship has served as a stationary museum in the Gdynia Harbor.
