Around the outside rim of the plate are the city's treasured buildings and monuments: Barbakan (The Old Town Barbican), Ratusz (Town Hall), Kościoł Mariacki (St. Mary's Church), Sukiennice (The Cloth Hall), Brama Florianska (The Florian Gate), and the Kościół Św. Wojciecha (The Church of St. Adalbert ). The plaque has a nail hole at the top for wall mounting.
