Ink Pen - Krakow Series, Boxed Set of 10

Boxed set of ten ballpoint ink pens from the Krakow Series featuring hand-painted resin figures on the on the top of each pen. The set contains two of each of the five figures:

• Lajkonik Figure (Item # 435141) - Lajkonik, a symbol of Kraków, is a bearded man resembling a Tatar on horseback. He is represented each year in Kraków during the Lajkonik Festival held on the first Thursday following Corpus Christi in June. The annual festival has continued to be celebrated for over the past 700 years. Ink Pen Measures: 2.0" L x 0.75" W x 7.0" H

• Wawel Dragon Figure (Item # 435142) - Smok Wawelski, the Wawel Dragon, is famous in Polish folklore. A symbol of Kraków, the legendary dragon's home is in a cave under the Wawel Castle along the Vistula River. Ink Pen Measures: 0.9" L x 0.75" W x 6.4" H

• Krakow Male Figure (Item # 435143) - Dress in traditional folk garb from the Kraków region. Ink Pen Measures: 1.0" L x 0.5" W x 6.3" H

• Krakow Female Figure (Item # 435144) - Dress in traditional folk garb from the Kraków region. Ink Pen Measures: 1.1" L x 0.6" W x 6.4" H

• Hussar Figure (Item # 435145) - Between the 16th and 18th centuries, the charging Polish Hussars (Husaria) were a primary part of the Polish Army; first developed as a formation of light cavalry, then later transformed into heavy cavalry. They have been described as 'one of the most spectacular soldiers in the world'. Ink Pen Measures: 0.9" L x 0.75" W x 7.0" H

The box container can be used as a pen holder for easy of display.
