Hussar's assignment was to crush position of infantry and to fight with light cavalry. In this formation could serve only rich nobility prepare to the military trade from the birth. Hussar was armed in Polish construction saber, a lance, 2 pistols, often huge range reflective bow and so called "kalkan" shield. Famous wings at first were attached to a saddle in order to protect rider from the Tatar arcane. After that pinned on to the hussar back served as a decoration and psychological attribute to scare enemy (they were making huge noise when hussar regiment was charging in full gallop).It takes a very knowledgeable and talented artist to create military figures that meet the expectations of the most demanding collectors.
